Multidisciplinary Health Research (MHR) does not charge fees for the submission, processing, or publication of articles (no costs to authors).

Peer Review Process
All manuscripts received undergo a preliminary review by the editorial board to verify their thematic relevance, originality, compliance with editorial guidelines, and adherence to the ethical principles of scientific publication.
Manuscripts that pass this initial review are sent for external peer review, in which at least two specialists in the subject area of the work participate. Reviewers are selected based on their academic experience, scholarly output, and the absence of conflicts of interest.
The review process is conducted on a double-blind basis, ensuring the anonymity of both authors and reviewers throughout all stages of the evaluation.
Reviewers issue a reasoned opinion based on criteria of scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance, originality, and contribution to the field of knowledge. In the event of a discrepancy between the reviews, the manuscript may be sent to a third reviewer for resolution.
The average time from receipt of the manuscript to the issuance of the editorial decision is approximately three months; however, this period may vary depending on the complexity of the manuscript and the availability of reviewers.
The editorial decisions resulting from the review process are as follows:
a) Rejected.
b) Accepted with minor revisions.
c) Accepted with major revisions.
d) Accepted for publication.
Authors must address the comments provided by the reviewers within the established deadlines and submit a revised version of the manuscript, accompanied by a response letter detailing the changes made.
